Hommage à Chopin
Celebrating the bicentenary of Frederic Chopin (1810 - 1849)
Chopin's music has become a great influence and inspiration for generations of composers. This concert will feature works written by composers who wrote in memory of the great Polish master. From Theodore Leschetizky (Chopin's junior by just 20 years) to Clément Doucet (jazz pianist of the 1920s), Chopin's music can be traced through every musician's life.
